Sign of international recognition of accreditation The accreditation mark of a signatory body affixed to verification or inspection reports, certificates of conformity and calibration is a kind of passport to international markets. An accreditation mark on a product, service or professional person allows you to move without requiring other types of control. ILAC (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation) is the international iso/IEC 17011 accreditation body for laboratories, inspections, reference material manufacturers and competency verifiers. Its members are made up of accreditation bodies and stakeholder organisations around the world. During the official ceremony, Alexey Khersontsev, Head of the Federal Accreditation Service, received the signature from him and Merih Malmqvist Nilsson, President of ILAC, Mutual Recognition Arrangement of the International Testing and Calibration Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ISO/IEC 17025). Savva Shipov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Head of Rosaccreditation, was also present at the ceremony. Rosaccreditation was able to join ILAC after joining the Mutual Recognition Arrangement of the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC MRA). ILAC MRA links existing regional MFIs/MLAs of recognized regional cooperation bodies. For the purposes of ILAC MRA and on the basis of ILAC`s assessment and recognition of regional MAAs, ILAC delegates to its recognized regional cooperation bodies the authority to assess, monitor, reassess and make related decisions with respect to the signatory status of accreditation bodies that are full members of ILAC (ILAC signatories). Accreditation bodies that have signed the ILAC MRA have been assessed in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17011 to demonstrate their competence.
