The attached syllabus is for a course taught by The Rev. Dr. Barbara Wilson at Bexley Seabury June 12-16, 2017. AiDr. Wilson is an Adjunct Faculty member with Bexley Seabury and a United Methodist Church pastor and community organizer who works on the Executive Staff of the Presbytery of Chicago, Presbyterian Church, USA.
This course helps participants develop relational leadership skills and learn how to engage others in community course. Ai??Attention is paid to biblical groundings and practical applications for congregational and community renewal. Ai??Students will learn skills based on key organizing principles in order to become effective Ai??public leaders and organizers for change.
This course is required for the D. Min. degree and one of two options to meet the M.Div. degree requirements.
